Employment Status
Self-Employed
Occupation:

About Me:
I've been a DJ since the late 70's, a jazz club promoter in the 80's (The Square One, Essex, UK), a BBC radio presenter for 5 years in the 90's (BBC Essex Jazz First) and a record business owner (Virgo Vibes; rare & out of print records). I am the English Media Consultant & Liaison for the annual San Javier International Jazz Festival staged every Summer in Murcia.
Musical Background & Experience:
My musical taste stems from the sophisticated 70's Motown sound of Stevie Wonder & Marvin Gaye, and the classic jazz funk grooves of Roy Ayers, Herbie Hancock, Donald Byrd and Blue Note jazz. My worldwide musical adventures across the United States and Europe in search of rare records have amassed a unique collection together with a library of anecdotes about the characters meet along the way. On my radio show I always like to entertain as well as educate the listener about new and upcoming artists and those whom might otherwise remain in shadows of obscurity.
