About Me:

I am currently in my 27th year as Professor of Music and Fine Arts Department Chairman. I am a trumpet player and leader of "Sparky's Jazz Express" perform with a group call "Jazz Sunday" and principal trumpet with the Galveston Symphony Orchestra.

Musical Background & Experience:

I received my Master of Music Ed degree at the University of North Texas in 1976 and my Bachelor of Music degree from Louisiana State University in 1974.
My group "Sparky's Jazz Express" performs regularlly in the Galveston / Houston, TX.
As a trumpet player I perform in all types of musical situations including: Jazz Concerts, Symphony Concerts, Broadway Pit Bands, Solo Trumpet at Weddings and various church performance with "Jazz Sunday" or any situation where quality music is requested.
