About Me:: I play flutes and perform and record a range of world and straight ahead jazz

Musical Background & Experience:: I was a trombonist in the 60's, one of the original latin trombonists and arrangers in New York. I have been playing flute since the mid 70's and have recorded 15 albums beginning in the mid 90's with world class musicians. I have PhD in Philosophy in teach in an Educational Foundations department at Montclair State University

Why I love jazz:: Jazz combines skill, intellect and emotion like no other music.

Music:: Music is one of the few things you can do that causes no harm at all.
