"Musically it's more like a compact trombone because the base is a pocket cornet which has a wider bore than a pocket trumpet. A pocket trumpet would have not been convertible into a trombetto.. I'll have some more sounds posted soon.…"

"Wow! Dr. Nelson, I just checked out your page! To say I'm impressed would be an understatement. Is the trombetto similar to a pocket trumpet which was played by Don Cherry? Or is it more like a compact trombone?"
