Hi, Linda, from Scottsdale, Arizona. Ken Taylor here, former band mate from all the western Ohio bands. Glad to hear you're with Columbus Jazz Arts. As you probably know, we lost Gary Carny about a year ago, and our jazz family out here still mourns his passing. I'm active in the area in both big band and combo settings. I miss all the great players in Ohio like yourself, but can no longer take that snow and cold weather. Come visit sometime and you'll see what I mean. Please say "hello" for me to our mutual music friends in Ohio. Best wishes, Ken Taylor

Ron was great! he was in school with me at CCM a few years ago. Yes it was great to play with such great players. I loved it also, but the politics with Ray got in the way I guess. Guess I will have to come and hear you guys again. Going to Florida for the cool days! ha! Have a few gigs there also. Nelson
