I started playing piano when I was 4 years old and decided that after hearing a Cleveland local, Dave Sterner, play alto sax, that I wanted to play as well. I began taking lessons from Dave in the 5th grade and continued to study with him until I graduated from high school. I am now currently enrolled in the Jazz Studies program at The University of Michigan. Throughout my musical experience I have had the great honor of playing with:

I was lucky enough to see the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra play with Wynton Marsalis recently.
Also a cool thing...I got to meet Jeff Coffin and the rest of the Flecktones twice. Jeff is one of my favorite sax players alive today.
