oh I here ya on that one...i mean my parents...they even say i was born into the wrong generation! but anywayz...thanx a lot. It actually might be cool if you could help me out with my senior project in two years..I want to compose a piece that the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra would play...as a way to earn money for cancer...sound like a good idea?

oh no don't worry about it man. The fact that you responded at all gives me comfort. but yes I whole heartedly agree with the education degree. I plan on hopefully double majoring in both performance and education...which, granted is going to be a handful, but I'm up to the challenge...and thank you for the pointers. best wishes, sam

Yea things are going pretty good for me. Looks like you have had a good life also. My teaching of course keeps me going and well it is great being able to do gigs all the time. Being here in Texas all these years I am able to keep up with quite a few of the guys we went to North Texas with. There are many in the Houston area. Actually Houston has a pretty good jazz scene. hey there harold...i know you don't know me...but i'm an aspiring musician at Brownsburg High School in Indiana...just want to get into the jazz community because i plan on going into jazz studies when I get older....got any pointers?
