About Me:: I really love the guitar. I try to play musically. George Russell and Jerry Sims are continual sources of inspiration to me. I am fortunate enough to get to play and be influenced by a lot of diverse music. I try not to be a snob, I only ask that the music swing.

Musical Background & Experience:: I've been gigging over forty years. I began a formal study of Jazz guitar in 1982, studying with Jerry Sims for four years. I am still learning and teaching in addition to gigging with several performers in the Savannah/ Hilton Head region primarily. I played in the Morehouse College Jazz Lab in undergrad.Some of my former students have gone to Berklee, BIT, and one is currently pursuing a terminal degree in Bass performance. I play 7-string, bass guitar, and keyboards.
