I've got a really comprehensive method that I've put together after teaching jazz for 34 years. Please check it out. A Jazz Symposium will take place on June 11, 2011 in Arlington, TX at the University of Texas Arlington Campus. Tim Ishii is the host. Go to www.tjea.org for more information. Directors this would be a great way to increase your jazz skills.  There will be some hands on experience so bring you horns.

A meeting of the Texas Jazz Educators Association will be held at the Texas Bandmasters Association Convention in San Antonio on July 25, 2011 at 9:30 am in the Convention Center Room 207. Stop in and find out what is going on with Jazz in Texas.
